Blickensderfer Family Christmas

Welcome to the Blickensderfer Family Christmas website. In prior years was had a static display with about 8,000 lights.

2011: Going green!!!! We have replaced the C7 roof lighting to RGB (red, green, blue) Led strips. Each strip has 12 RGB LEDs and are hand soldered and it takes 30 minutes per strip.
There are 150 strips on the roof. Besides the RGB strips we have added 5 new Tiger 120 DMX Controllers and 5 new Lynx Express Controllers. The Tiger 120 DMX controllers are 120
channels and are DC powered. Each Tiger controller requires a standard 350 watt computer power supplies. Additional things that are new this year are 2 coroplast snow flakes. Each
leg of each snow flake has 30 RGB LEDS and can be controlled separately. Those too are powered 12 VDC. We have replaced all the lights on the 29 bushes with white LEDs. With
everything added this year the channel count went up to 775.

2010: We added 13 additional micro trees, 3 leaping arches and 3 window frame lighting.

2009: We have added additional 17,000 lights and
it is the first to have our lights synchronize to music. With 220 channels controlling all the lights, we can create unique shows to the music.
